Download Messiah

All platforms

Download and install Freenet, following the directions on the Freenet download page.

Windows (all versions)

Download and run the standalone installer. You can run Messiah from your start menu at any time.

Unix (including MacOS X)

You will need the following: python, wxPython and the Messiah source tarball.

After unpacking the Messiah source tarball, run python calvin/hobbes/prog/gui.py. When Messiah starts it will prompt you to choose your shared music folder.

To use the command line interface you must first initialize a Messiah root directory by running python calvin/hobbes/prog/hobbescmd.py --init /path/to/rootdir /path/to/musicdir. Your root directory should not exist when you run this but your music directory should.
